At Max’s Deli & Bakery, we sell a wide variety of bread and bun products.
Favourites include: Artisan French Baguettes, Wholegrain Boule, Cranberry Semolina, Sesame Batard, Country Cheese & Garlic, California Raisin Bread, Challah Bread and Brioche Slider Buns.
Artisan Bread is crafted rather than mass produced. Special attention to ingredients, process and a return to the fundamentals of age old bread making tradition set artisan breads apart from soft preservative-laden commercial breads. Unlike most bread, which rises with the aid of commercial yeast, our bread is made by encouraging the growth of naturally occurring WILD YEAST.
Our Breads are made by allowing a 3-Day Extended Fermentation period, creating rich flavours and textures.

Our breads are Hand Kneaded, and Shaped, and then baked in a Winkler STONE DECK OVEN, imported from Germany, and while this approach requires more time and effort, you will see, feel, and taste the difference! Your body is happier too, when only the healthiest products go into the final loaf.
